• development and implementation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with vendors.
• involved in the computerisation implementation of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) company-wide – AS400.
• verification of vendor's terms and condition, contract specification, investment study, site verification and recommendation to management for approval.
• stationed in Senai's plant, Johore Bahru, West Malaysia for their initial start-up and setting up their purchasing and procurement department to channel communication with Singapore's plant.
• adoption and implementation of in-house QCC, (Quality Control Circle) in cost saving and productivity program as well as working on ISO9000 quality management system.
